We begin with your experience of living in the house: what works, what feels constrained and what needs to change. Surveys and initial studies help us understand the existing structure, condition and opportunities. An extension is then considered alongside improvements to circulation, storage, servicing and the interior.
Architecture and interiors are developed together so that new rooms belong naturally to the home. Materials and junctions need particular care where contemporary additions meet older fabric. Building services and lighting also need space within the design rather than being resolved as an afterthought.
