Feasibility & pre-purchase
Before buying or transforming a property, it helps to understand what might be possible and what needs further investigation. An early architectural review can bring shape to that decision.

A considered approach to your home.
We consider your intended use, the existing building and its setting. Initial work may explore reorganisation, extensions, replacement or new accommodation, together with the planning and heritage context. The scope is agreed to suit the decision you need to make.
Drawings and outline studies can reveal opportunities that are difficult to judge from sales particulars alone. They can also identify constraints: access, neighbouring relationships, trees, heritage, flood considerations or below-ground construction, where relevant.
We distinguish an initial view from matters requiring surveys, specialist investigations or consultation with the authority. Architectural advice complements the work of your solicitor, building surveyor and cost consultant; it does not replace their due diligence.
You receive an explanation of the options and recommended next steps. Where appropriate, we can develop the chosen direction into a more detailed feasibility study and subsequent design appointment.
